Missing pages July 30, 2010 Dyfnwal 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
The first delivery of this book showed that pages 21 through to 52 were missing. Other pages are missing or not in sequential order. I asked Amazon to check the replacement (which they promptly delivered). Again the same problem. I have already suffered the inconvenience of printing a returns label and going to the local post office to return the first book. I would recommend that you only buy this after Amazon have STATED that the problem has been resolved. There does appear to be a lot of information in this book notwithstanding the missing pages.
Very useful book indeed September 7, 2007 helen highwater 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
With a daughter just about to go off to Uni and a son in his third year I have found this book to be exceptionally helpful in investigating and researching all the possible problems they may meet and have already met in the minefield that is student renting. I have already used it to get the right place for my daughter, the information I found out made me play the over-protective mother and pull her out of a rental that appeared to be dodgy. The book helped confirm my suspicions ( I won't go into the legal details of it all). A very useful book. Highly recommended to others in the same situation.
